TOBU TOWER SKYTREE Co., Ltd., operator of the iconic TOKYO SKYTREE, has announced its collaboration with the popular soccer-themed anime 'BLUE LOCK' for a unique event titled 'BLUE LOCK EPISODE SKY in TOKYO SKYTREE.' The event is scheduled to take place from April 9 to July 6, 2026, marking the first partnership between the tower and the anime.
The 'BLUE LOCK EPISODE SKY' event will transform the 450-meter-high Tembo Galleria into an interactive exhibit featuring exclusive key visuals from the anime. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase limited-edition merchandise and enjoy a special cafe menu designed for the event. Additionally, a unique photo shoot service will allow fans to capture moments with life-sized 'BLUE LOCK' characters.
The event will also expand to the 350-meter-high Tembo Deck, where exclusive videos will be projected onto the SKYTREE ROUND THEATER, a circular panoramic screen created by converting the observation deck's windows. In the evenings, the tower's exterior will be illuminated with 'BLUE LOCK'-themed lighting, drawing inspiration from various characters of the anime.
In an effort to enhance visitor experience, TOBU TOWER SKYTREE Co., Ltd. is offering special admission tickets that include a novelty card featuring an event-exclusive key visual. These limited tickets grant access to both the Tembo Deck and Tembo Galleria, along with a collectible illustration card available only at this event.
TOKYO SKYTREE, which stands as the world's tallest free-standing broadcasting tower at 634 meters, regularly engages in collaborations to draw tourists and fans alike, offering panoramic views of Tokyo and special lighting effects during seasonal and thematic events.
The event is expected to attract both local visitors and international tourists, as TOBU TOWER SKYTREE Co., Ltd. aims to provide a memorable cultural experience centered around the joint showcase with 'BLUE LOCK.'
