The Executive Centre (TEC), a notable provider of flexible workspaces in Asia Pacific and the Middle East, is celebrating its 25th anniversary in Japan. Since its establishment in 2001, TEC has expanded to 12 centers across Japan, marking a notable development in the country’s premium workspace sector.
To commemorate its 25-year milestone, TEC hosted an event on January 23, 2026, highlighting the recent refurbishment of its inaugural center at Cerulean Towers. This renovation underscores TEC’s commitment to enhancing its facilities and investing in long-term growth, according to Liam Owens, Regional Director of TEC Japan.
TEC Japan has witnessed substantial growth in recent years, with profitability tripling over the last two years. This financial success has attracted the attention of major tech and financial institutions, positioning the company as a key player in Japan’s business landscape. The organization’s occupancy rate has surpassed 90%, with prime locations like those in the Tokyo Station area remaining fully booked.
Looking ahead, TEC sees Japan as a significant regional opportunity and plans to expand beyond Tokyo. Owens emphasized the company’s strategic vision to cater to diverse business needs across various sectors, reinforcing its position as a leader in premium workspace solutions throughout the country.
The Executive Centre’s achievements in the Japanese market reflect a strong commitment to innovation and excellence, as the company anticipates continued growth and the fostering of longstanding partnerships with clients and landlords.
