BluE Nexus Corporation, AISIN Corporation, and DENSO Corporation have collaborated to create a new Two-Motor Hybrid Drive Module, now featured in the STELLANTIS New Jeep Cherokee.
The innovative module integrates a high-efficient, high-torque transaxle and optimizes control of both the motor and the boost converter to enhance voltage. This development aims to bolster the Jeep Cherokee's off-road capabilities and fuel efficiency, aligning with the brand's reputation.
Manufacturing of the transaxle and motors is handled by AISIN North Carolina Corporation, with the inverter produced by DENSO Manufacturing Tennessee, Inc. This strategic production supports the expansion of hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) in the North American market.
Looking forward, BluE Nexus, AISIN, and DENSO plan to continue leveraging their strengths to deliver high-value technologies and products. The broader adoption of BluE Nexus products across electric vehicles is expected to contribute to a carbon neutral society.
