ANA Akindo and Mombetsu City Launch Joint Inbound Tourism Campaign

ANA Akindo Co., Ltd., in collaboration with Mombetsu City in Hokkaido, has launched a joint inbound tourism campaign to boost travel to Mombetsu, spearheaded by All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. (ANA). The initiative, which began on July 14, 2026, features special promotional fares for travelers from Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong SAR, and the Philippines.

The campaign offers travelers the opportunity to book discounted flights that include both Tokyo and Mombetsu, making the journey to the northern Hokkaido city more affordable than a standard flight to Tokyo. The offer is valid for a limited period, ending on July 27, 2026.

Mombetsu, located in northern Hokkaido, is renowned for its unique attractions such as ice drift cruises in winter, fresh seafood from the Sea of Okhotsk, opportunities to see seals, and expansive natural landscapes. This initiative allows tourists to connect the vibrant urban environment of Tokyo with the peaceful charm of Mombetsu, enhancing the overall travel experience in Japan.

Travelers can take advantage of the offer by booking a stopover in Tokyo for more than 24 hours at no extra airfare charge, although consumption tax and service fees may apply. The special fares for different markets are set as follows: SGD 815 for Singapore, THB 20,165 for Thailand, HKD 3,694 for Hong Kong SAR, and USD 220 for the Philippines.

Reservations and further details can be accessed via the official ANA websites dedicated to each market. These sites offer comprehensive guidance on the booking process and terms of the promotional fares.

The joint effort between ANA Akindo and Mombetsu City is part of a broader strategy to promote lesser-known destinations within Japan, aiming to diversify and boost the overall tourism landscape while offering travelers a richer, more varied experience.
