InnoEX and Electronics Fair Showcase Global Innovations in Hong Kong

InnoEX, organized by the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau of the HKSAR Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), has opened alongside the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event, themed “Innovate • Automate • Elevate,” will run for four days, featuring over 2,800 exhibitors from 27 countries and regions.

The fairs highlight advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and electronics, aligning with Hong Kong's strategic development goals under the National 15th Five-Year Plan. Jenny Koo, Deputy Executive Director of the HKTDC, emphasized the fairs' role in fostering cross-regional and cross-industry collaboration, showcasing Hong Kong's innovation strengths.

A key feature is the newly launched “RoboPark,” which spans both fairs and includes four of the world's top five humanoid robot manufacturers. Companies such as AgiBot, Unitree, UBTECH, and EngineAI are presenting their latest technologies. Unitree is debuting its next-generation quadruped robot dog, the Unitree A2, designed for complex terrains and industrial applications.

Rice Robotics, a Hong Kong-based company, is showcasing autonomous robots for office operations, already adopted by major Japanese enterprises. International exhibitors from the UK, Israel, the Philippines, and Singapore are also participating, highlighting the global reach of the event.

In addition to robotics, InnoEX focuses on AI+, the low-altitude economy, property technology, and retail technology. The Digital Policy Office's “Smart Hong Kong Pavilion” showcases AI solutions from over 20 government departments and public organizations. Tencent Cloud is among the exhibitors, presenting AI innovations like SuperApp and PalmAI.

The low-altitude economy is another focal point, with China Mobile Hong Kong demonstrating a drone traffic management system and 5G+ satellite connectivity. The LAE Development Conference will be held in conjunction, featuring speakers like Bakhtiyar Mukhametkaliyev, Vice Minister of Kazakhstan, to explore market opportunities.

At the Electronics Fair, exhibitors from 15 countries present innovations in smart home solutions, health tech, and pet intelligence. New products include Infinite Import & Export's “BG120 Smart Sports Glasses” and Zhongyuan Innovation's “AI Smart Elderly Care Kit.”

The fairs offer over 100 forums and seminars, featuring industry leaders and experts discussing trends and innovations. The event is part of the larger Business of Innovation and Technology Week, which includes additional conferences and forums aimed at strengthening Hong Kong's position as a global I&T hub.
