Mitomo Semicon Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of EEJA Ltd., will change its name to EEJA Technologies Ltd. effective April 1, 2026. The company is involved in the design, manufacture, and sale of plating equipment for semiconductors and electronic components.
The rebranding aims to strengthen collaboration with EEJA, which specializes in plating chemicals and processes. This strategic move is expected to enhance value for customers by integrating plating chemicals, equipment, and process design into comprehensive solutions.
Mitomo Semicon Engineering was established in 1976 and reported sales of JPY 2,925,911,000 in the fiscal year 2024. The company employs 47 people as of January 1, 2026. EEJA Ltd., founded in 1965, focuses on the development, manufacture, and export of precious metal and base metal plating chemicals. It reported sales of JPY 29,957,393,000 for the fiscal year 2024 and employs 133 people, including those in overseas subsidiaries.
TANAKA PRECIOUS METAL GROUP Co., Ltd., the parent company, manages a diversified range of businesses focused on precious metals. The group reported consolidated net sales of JPY 846,921 million for the fiscal year 2024 and employs 5,591 people globally.
The rebranding is part of a broader strategy to leverage the strengths of EEJA's chemical expertise and Mitomo's engineering capabilities, offering a unified approach to plating technology solutions.
