Honda Motor Co., Ltd. announced the revision of its iconic H mark, an emblem that has symbolized the Honda automobile business since its first introduction in 1963. The updated H mark design arises out of Honda’s commitment to transform the company and its strive to transcend the origins of Honda by constantly seeking new challenges and advancements.
The refreshing of the H mark design is synchronous with the development of next-generation Electric Vehicles (EVs), including the Honda 0 Series. Honda’s determination is to create new EVs from ‘zero’, starting again from the company’s origin as an automaker. The new H mark design expresses two outstretched hands, embodying Honda’s commitment to broadening the scope of mobility and serving the needs of the customers of its automobile business sincerely.
This new H mark will start appearing on next-generation EVs and Hybrid-Electric Vehicle (HEV) models, beginning with those released in 2027 and subsequently.
Honda plans on extending the application of the new H mark to represent its overall automobile business. This includes not merely automobile products but also a diverse range of customer touchpoints, inclusive of dealership locations, communication campaigns, and automobile motorsports activities.
