Anime Tokyo Station, a prominent exhibition center for Japanese anime in Tokyo, recently hosted a successful public recording event featuring renowned voice actors Miina Tominaga, Tomokazu Seki, and Atsumi Tanezaki. The event, titled 'Anime Tokyo Station Early Summer Festival,' took place on June 1, 2026, and was attended by 52 visitors selected through a lottery system.

The event was divided into two segments, with Tominaga serving as the host. The first part involved a discussion about various anime works, including 'PSYCHO-PASS,' in which Seki played a leading role. Seki's live performance of lines from the series was met with enthusiastic applause. The conversation also touched on the challenges of maintaining consistency in long-running series, with both Tominaga and Seki sharing insights from their careers.

The event also featured a 'Quick Anime Quiz,' where Seki and audience members participated in answering questions about popular anime titles. Seki's perfect score in the quiz segment was a highlight, showcasing his deep knowledge and connection to the anime industry.

In the second part, Atsumi Tanezaki joined the stage for a dramatic reading of 'Kiri no Nakade (In the Fog),' part of the 'Arashi No Yoru Ni (One Stormy Night)' series. The performance was enhanced by live music, creating an immersive experience for the audience. The presence of Yuichi Kimura, the series' author, added to the event's significance, as he praised the voice actors for bringing his characters to life.

The event underscored Anime Tokyo Station's role as a hub for anime history and future exploration. Seki expressed his appreciation for the facility and its initiatives, while Tanezaki shared her excitement about performing alongside esteemed colleagues.
