Hoshizaki to Implement IFS Cloud for ERP Transformation

Hoshizaki Corporation, a leading manufacturer of commercial foodservice equipment, has announced plans to implement IFS Cloud as its next-generation core system to transform its legacy ERP systems. The initiative aims to support over 700 users across two major production sites and establish a foundation for AI-enabled manufacturing optimization.

Amid growing competition and product diversification, Hoshizaki views this as an opportunity for business transformation. The current ERP environment, heavily reliant on customization and fragmented systems, limits operational agility and data utilization. By adopting IFS Cloud, Hoshizaki aims to reduce customization, optimize investment costs, and create a scalable ERP platform for future growth.

Hoshizaki's transformation strategy includes leveraging IFS in its standard configuration to stay aligned with the latest releases and enhance manufacturing efficiency and decision-making through AI. The consolidation of order management, production planning, manufacturing execution, and inventory control into a unified platform will provide standardized data infrastructure and real-time visibility, essential for advanced AI-driven analytics.

Hannes Liebe, Regional President, APJMEA at IFS, commented on Hoshizaki's modernization efforts, emphasizing the establishment of a modern, standardized ERP foundation to support the next stage of manufacturing advancement. This move is expected to strengthen Hoshizaki's sustainable competitive advantage.

Tetsuya Kawai, Managing Director of the Manufacturing Industries Solutions Division at NEC, expressed support for Hoshizaki's upgrade to IFS Cloud. NEC will contribute its experience in large-scale manufacturing IT transformation to help build a stable and scalable ERP foundation, enhancing operational efficiency and creating new value through Industrial AI.
