Anime Tokyo Station is set to host a special exhibition dedicated to the anime series 'That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime' from February 21 to May 24, 2026. The exhibition aims to attract both domestic and international fans of the series, which has amassed a significant following since its debut in 2018.
The exhibition will offer visitors an immersive experience with life-size character panels, interactive digital content, and exhibits showcasing key moments from the anime. Highlighting the series' journey through its third season, the event will also feature a mosaic created from anime stills depicting the pivotal scene where main characters Rimuru and Veldora become friends.
As the anime gears up for the release of its fourth season and a new theatrical movie, 'That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: The Movie – Tears of the Azure Sea,' this exhibition provides fans an opportunity to relive the show's evolution and celebrate its impact. The series' first movie, released in 2022, had a successful run in Japan, earning over 1.4 billion yen at the box office.
Anime Tokyo Station serves as a hub for anime enthusiasts and is renowned for hosting exhibitions of popular anime series. Located at Tokyu East 5 in Minami-Ikebukuro, the venue is easily accessible from Ikebukuro Station and offers free admission. The exhibition will operate from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., with final admissions allowed at 6:45 p.m.
'That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime' originates from a web novel and has expanded into a successful manga series with over 56 million copies in circulation globally. The anime adaptation has solidified its standing within the industry, demonstrating the growing international appeal of Japanese anime.
