Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) has announced a special Sebastien Ogier 9x World Champion Edition of the GR Yaris, which was unveiled as an under-development prototype at the 2026 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC), Round 1: Rallye Monte-Carlo. The vehicle is a commemorative edition to honor driver Sebastien Ogier’s record tying ninth World Rally Championship (WRC). Ogier clinched his latest title after an intense season that concluded at Rally Saudi Arabia.

The special edition GR Yaris incorporates specific features developed in collaboration with Ogier. This includes the 4WD Control “SEB.” Mode and an exclusive exterior ‘Black Gravite’ color symbolizing TGR’s motorsport activities. The car is based on GR Yaris’ ‘Aero performance package’.

A total of 100 units will be produced for the Japanese market, which will be distributed through a purchasing lottery and applications will be accepted from spring 2026 via the TGR official smartphone application, the ‘GR app’. A limited run of 100 units will also be released in certain European markets.

Some of the exclusive features of the GR Yaris Sebastien Ogier 9x World Champion Edition include 4WD control mode developed with Ogier, replacing the ‘Track’ mode with ‘SEB.’ Mode and changing the ‘Gravel’ mode to ‘Morizo’ mode. The interior and exterior are also specially designed incorporating Ogier’s preferences and functionality required in rallies.

The vehicle’s exterior color ‘Black Gravite’ complements matte black wheels. The brake calipers come in Ogier’s signature blue and the radiator grille holds a tricolored decoration inspired by Ogier’s home country of France. Meanwhile, the interior features improved motorsports operations, modified steering wheel-mounted switches, and a special serial-number plate commemorating Ogier’s 2025 WRC title.
