The Daily Automotive News (Nikkan Jidosha Shimbun), Japan’s leading newspaper for the automobile industry, will host a conference exploring autonomous driving, the connected car and resulting cyber security challenges. The conference will take place on Nov. 22 in Tokyo and is open to the public for registration.
Less traffic congestion, better fuel efficiency and lower carbon emissions, and fewer road accidents: the benefits of connected cars are obvious. With the Internet of Things developing in strides, they are becoming an everyday reality. And with rapid advances in autonomous driving technology, this trend is set to accelerate.
But new technologies bring new challenges. For connected cars and autonomous driving, cyber security is one of the most important issues to ensure safe mobility.
The conference will explore this topic relevant to us all, its present circumstances, challenges and future trends. It features an attractive line-up of speakers from JASPAR, Nagoya University, Infineon Technologies, ETAS Escript, DeNA and The Daily Automotive News.
Simultaneous Japanese-English interpretation will be available throughout the conference.
